Hell Up North 2009
This event took place on 2nd November 2nd November 2008 As a mark of respect on the 2nd anniversary of his dad's death Scott has decided to challenge himself and take part in a sponsored event to raise money for his dad's chosen charity 'A Breath For Life'.  The event he has chosen is named 'Hell Up North' and it is believed not only to be one of the most physically demanding runs but also requires strong mental determination to succeed.  The course covers over 12 miles within the Delamere Forest in Cheshire and entails running through rough terrain, streams and rivers, in some instances of waist height. Scott is a Lancaster City Football player and has a good standard of fitness so he is confident that he can take on the challenge ahead.  Scott has thrown down the gauntlet and managed to persuade others to join him.  His brother-in-law Andrew Pickering, a keen Lunesdale Valley Cycle Club member, has also taken up the challenge. As have Matthew Galley, a Golf Professional at Morecambe Golf Club and Sam Price, a keen athlete who also bring added quality to this four man team.
